Artist Bio

Annika Wong (she/her) is a dancer, musician and artist who has worked in theatre, immersive theatrical experiences, and film in NYC. Most recently, she was a co-dance captain and featured dance ensemble for Marina Montesanti's new musical, EXIST, where she worked closely with Broadway veteran and choreographer, Ahmad Simmons. She has worked with Bated Breath Theatre Company on two shows - Chasing Andy Warhol and Bittersweet: a new play, the latter of which she was on the creative devising team for. Other key credits include The Founding of the World dance visual for BAMPFA by artist Kenneth Tam, where she worked closely with choreographer Juri Onuki. Annika is currently a company dancer with Marc Nunez’s Gotham Dance Theater, and dances in Preston Mui’s (Hamilton on Broadway) all women, all Asian dance group, The Dynasties. She is a 2022 graduate of Peridance Center's Certificate Program. Annika is excited to continue sharing and growing her passion for dance on film, especially in spaces where she is able to express her mixed heritage as a femme Asian.
